Install the traffic-tracking snippet
#Embed the code
The site detail page contains the tracking code — paste that <script> before </body> on every page you want tracked (once per site). Visitor data then flows into the Traffic analytics pages (Traffic analytics).
#What it collects
PV, UV, referrers, visited pages, dwell time and conversions — standard analytics fields; details in Traffic reports.
#Ignoring your own visits
- Ignore IPs: put your and your colleagues' IPs into the ignore-IP list — visits from those addresses don't count.
- Unregistered sites: domains not registered in the system aren't tracked by default, so nobody can inflate your stats by reusing your snippet.
#Privacy
- Site statistics only — no visitor personal data;
- Check the blocked-IP list on the site report page to confirm you haven't blocked too much.
