Domain ownership verification
Certain features (such as operations with a wide blast radius) first ask you to prove the target domain is under your control. Verification is one-time; while it stays valid you won't be asked again.
#Two ways to verify
- DNS TXT: the platform gives you a
webcheck-verifyTXT value; add it at your DNS provider, then click Verify once it propagates. DNS propagation can take minutes to hours. - File verification: download a file with given content, place it at the specified path under the site root — passing means it's publicly reachable.
Description
DNS changes are usually made at the registrar or DNS provider where you signed up for the domain; if you can't find the entry point, first check where your domain's DNS is hosted.
