Set up your first alert
#Fastest setup: email
- Open System settings → the Alert notifications section.
- In Alert recipient emails, enter your email addresses separated by commas.
- Tick Enable email notifications and click Save.
- Find the verification email in your inbox and click the link to confirm (unverified addresses never receive alerts).
- Back on the settings page, click Send test notification to confirm the whole chain works.
#Other channels (configured on the same page)
- DingTalk: group-bot webhook URL + signing secret; can @ specific phone numbers or @everyone.
- Generic webhook: four formats — Feishu / WeCom group bots / Slack / structured JSON — to feed your own systems.
- Browser push: enable the Browser push section and grant notification permission; works on desktop and mobile alike.
Recipients must verify ownership
So nobody can aim our alerts at someone else's mailbox, every recipient address must click a verification link once. Unverified addresses are skipped, and the reason is visible in the site detail. See Recipient verification.
#Too many alerts?
The default "N consecutive failures" rule already filters most flapping. If that's not enough, see Cut down alert noise: per-site muting, night maintenance windows, global silence.
