Create a content watch with the wizard (AI-assisted)
#Create via the wizard
Open Content watch → Add monitoring, or enter via the content watch onboarding on the overview page:
- Enter the URL: the address of the page this monitor should watch.
- Pick the extraction method: the wizard offers a visual picker (click an element on the page); alternatively let AI read the page and suggest a selector — AI setup generates one from the page structure for you to confirm.
- Test run: run Test rule once to see whether the extracted value is right — test before saving, don't skip.
- Set the trigger condition (notify on change / numeric condition) and the check interval, then save.
#What AI can help with
- AI generation: describe "I want to track this page's price" and AI drafts an extraction rule from the page structure;
- AI repair: when a rule stops working (page redesign), let AI re-locate the element;
- AI endpoint discovery: when page data comes from an API, AI can find a readable JSON endpoint.
Description
AI output is a suggestion — verify the actual extracted value with Test rule before saving. Whether a rule fits is decided by the test result.
